A Beautiful Escape TALL DARK ROAST - Art Design Article Written By Samar Sadullah

Fine art is a wonderful thing. I remember the days of university graduate shows, my friends showing off their abilities to redefine obscurity and present it on a platter for all to see. Art can be defined in many ways, exploring the depth and meaning behind a piece is what draws me, and so many other art lovers, in.

I've been fascinated by artists, of most eras especially those that made their mark during the Renaissance period. Bellini, Raphael and of course, not forgetting Michelangelo and da Vinci. The physical collection is however still vacant.

I remember my first trip to Tuscany, Italy when I was younger and being very impressed by the art of local enthusiasts, similar to that of artists in Montmartre; Paris. Italy is a platform for beautiful art, breath taking surroundings, with a whimsical romanticism, inspiring and imaginative.

It was a couple of years ago I was drawn to the attention...

Mario Zampedronis Acrylgemaelde Auf Leinwand Mit Abstrakte Blumen Und Landschaften

Mario Zampedroni S Abstraction

 Mario Zampedroni S Abstraction

The word abstract comes from the Latin word to draw out or to take. Traditionally, this has been the essence of abstract art, taking real elements and stretching them onto a canvas of surreal proportions. But Mario Zampedroni has a different way of looking at his art, and it has enlivened an art scene riddled with commercialism and other less-than-inspirational influences.

A brief history of abstract art

Strictly speaking, abstract art is a newcomer to the Western scene. Up until the 19th century, Western artists strove to create convincing illusions of the real world. These works may have played with light and color, but they were firmly rooted in the realm of the real.
But in the 19th century, a new movement emerged. Impressionism still sought to depict real images, but it took liberties with focus and perspective, blurring lines and introducing some of the first trends toward abstraction in the west. Expressionist painting followed shortly after, and it...

Felice Mina - Italian Sculptor 1912 1976

Felice Mina was born in Cagno (Como) on August 20, 1912 from a simple and modest family of workers. He went to Milan when he was very young to keep the Art studying, started since his childhood at the Cantello and Viggi's drawing school, and to sculpt statues in marbles laboratories at Ornati. In 1930 he attended Brera's accademy and simultaneously the Castello's school of art. In 1935 he is finally able to realize his dream: a workshop managed by himself; hence the series of difficult years: the war in Africa, the call of duty and, once back from Greece discovering his workshop damaged and destroyed. Inspired by his major desire to create and express his personal feelings through the amorphous material he get back to work where facing starvation and difficulty he began his artistic sculptor career. His masterpieces are spread worledwide in private collections; The crucifix donated by Pope Paul VI to Philippines and the Pope John XXIII 's medal, brought on the moon by the American...

A Work In Progress

Mario Zampedroni was recognized early as a promising artist. When he was only 13 years old, he was admitted into Castello Sforzesco High School, a center for fine arts in Milan. In his earliest years he developed both his drawing and painting skills, but it was his work with the brush that truly set him apart. Throughout his high school career he entered several painting contests and won multiple awards, but he didn't immediately pursue a life devoted to fine art. In the 1970s, Mario studied architecture at a polytechnic university in Milan, and worked for a time as a designer.
But even at this point, Mario Zampedroni continued to paint every chance he had. His work received increasing levels of recognition, to the point that he finally set aside his career as a furniture designer so that he could paint full time. The benefited of having painted for so much of his life is that Mario has developed a unique personal style that is more about self-expression than adhering to an...

MARIO ZAMPEDRONI BRINGS MUSIC TO LIFE ARTICLE BY AJCopywriting USA

Italian painter Mario Zampedroni makes statements with color. Like most abstract painters, Zampedroni sees the world in a unique way and captures that vision so that others can share it with him. While today so much art is created simply to look pretty and to decorate rooms so they feel more like doctors offices or hotels, a well-crafted abstract painting should capture the eye, as well as the imagination.

Zampedroni's Music is a perfect example. The pink hue of the painting strikes the viewer first. The color is relaxing yet fun much like a lovely piece of music and lacks the fiery, blood pressure raising qualities of its darker sister, red. But Music brings in other colors as well, including the multiple colors of the staff those five lines where composers create their own works of art.

One of the most interesting parts of the piece, however, is the style of the black musical notes which seem more like ethereal stratus clouds hovering over the staff as if they have...
